Conservatory Shutters
A conservatory is mostly glass, which is the whole point of it and also the problem. Shutters give you control over glare and privacy without shutting the room down.
Glare, not darkness
Most people do not want to black a conservatory out — they want to take the edge off low sun without losing the garden. Tilting the louvres does exactly that: angle them and the light comes in off the ceiling rather than straight into your eyes, and you can still see out.
Why we suggest composite
A conservatory swings further in temperature and humidity than the rest of the house — hot in the afternoon, cold and damp by morning, with condensation on the glass in winter. Classic and Endurance are the collections built to take that without moving.
Doing it in stages
You do not have to do the whole conservatory at once. Because each shutter is made to its own measurements and priced on its own, plenty of people start with the two windows that catch the afternoon sun and add the rest later. The collection and colour will still be there.
Styles that suit
Full height is the usual answer for conservatory windows — one clean run of louvres, maximum control. Café style works where you want to keep the view of the garden completely clear above eye level.
