White Shutters
White is what most people picture when they think of plantation shutters, and it is our most ordered finish. There is more than one white, though, and the difference is worth knowing.
The three whites
- SF01 Pure White
- SF02 Silk White
- SF03 Lustre
- SF01 Pure White — the brightest and coolest. It sits well against modern white woodwork and in rooms that already feel light.
- SF02 Silk White — a fraction softer. The safest choice if your existing paintwork is anything other than brilliant white, because it does not fight it.
- SF03 Lustre — warmer again, edging towards off-white. Kinder in a room with warm flooring or older woodwork.
Available on every collection
All three whites are offered across all five collections — Classic, Linea, Endurance, Signature and Heritage. Linea is finished in these three only, which is genuinely its full range rather than a shortened one.
Where white works hardest
Bathrooms and kitchens, because it holds the brightness in a small room; and any window where you want the shutter to disappear into the reveal rather than announce itself. In a period room with dark woodwork, a wood tone or a deeper grey often looks more considered than white.

- You collect and fit. Collection is from Retford, and our fitting guides take it from there.
Because it is supply-only, there is no surveyor's visit and no fitter's day rate in the price.
