Wood-Tone Shutters
If you want the warmth of timber rather than a painted finish, four wood tones are available — and they sit on our two finest collections.
The four wood tones
- SF14 Riva
- SF15 Maple
- SF16 Walnut
- SF17 Cedar
- SF14 Riva — the lightest of the four.
- SF15 Maple — a pale, warm honey tone.
- SF16 Walnut — a deep mid-brown, the richest of the set.
- SF17 Cedar — warm with a reddish note, and the most traditional-looking.
Signature or Heritage?
Signature is our finest basswood — fine-grained and beautifully finished, and the flagship of the range. Heritage is brushed timber, where the grain is deliberately raised so you can see and feel it. Heritage is the one that suits a period property; Signature is the smoother, more contemporary read of the same warmth.
Where wood tones work
Living rooms, bedrooms, studies and period bay windows — dry rooms where the window is a feature. A walnut or cedar shutter against a plain wall does something a painted finish cannot, and it picks up existing floorboards or furniture rather than competing with them.

- Made to your millimetres. Every shutter is made to the sizes you give us.
- You collect and fit. Collection is from Retford, and our fitting guides take it from there.
Because it is supply-only, there is no surveyor's visit and no fitter's day rate in the price.
