Perfect Fit Shutters for uPVC Windows
Perfect fit shutters clip into the beading of a uPVC window, so nothing is screwed into the frame. We can supply them — by quotation rather than from the online price list, and this page says why.
What perfect fit shutters are
Perfect fit shutters are the clip-on kind. An ordinary shutter frame is screwed to the wall or into the window reveal. A perfect fit frame is not screwed anywhere: it clips into the beading of a uPVC window — the strip that holds the glazing in. Nothing is drilled, and no screw goes into the window. It is a description, not a brand name of ours.
They are a newer product than the rest of this site, and we can supply them. What we cannot do is price them online; that has its own answer further down.
No drill shutter blinds: the same product
"No drill shutter blinds", "clip on shutters" and "perfect fit shutters" are three names for one product: a shutter frame that clips into uPVC beading rather than being screwed into place. The first phrase and "perfect fit" describe it from two directions — one names what it does not do to your window, the other names how it sits in it. If no drill shutter blinds is what you searched for, you are in the right place, and the same quotation route applies.
Nothing is screwed into the window
The frame clips into the beading; nothing is drilled and no screw goes into the uPVC, so when the shutters come down there are no screw holes to fill and paint over. We cannot tell you what your landlord or your tenancy agreement will make of that — read it, or ask — but the absence of holes is a fact rather than a sales line, and we would rather not claim more than it. The clip needs a uPVC window with internal beading to grip, which is why a survey of the window is part of quoting.
Why we quote rather than publish a price
Because a published figure would be wrong. Everything else we sell is priced per square metre online. Perfect fit shutters cost more than those ranges, and the reason is plain enough: they are a newer, more specialised product with a higher supply cost to us. There is no cleverer explanation than that, and we would rather say it than dress it up. The figure also depends on your windows, so a price printed here would only be right for somebody else's. We quote each job individually instead, which is slower than a price list and more honest than one.

Classic and Endurance are the moisture-resistant pair — one a composite, the other ABS-coated paulownia — and carry the thirteen-colour painted palette, from white through the greys. They are what we point people at for a bathroom or kitchen. Wood tones sit on Signature and Heritage. Louvres are 63mm, 76mm or 89mm, and the style is a separate decision. We do not sell MDF shutters.
Perfect fit, or a normal frame
Perfect fit shutters are for uPVC windows with internal beading; that is the whole basis of the clip. If your windows are timber or aluminium, the answer is one of the five collections, which fit all three. If they are uPVC and you are not sure how the beading is arranged, say so when you request a quotation rather than guessing. A survey of the window is part of quoting, and this is what it is for.
A uPVC window does not, on its own, mean you need perfect fit. Our screw-fixed frames go on uPVC in the normal way, and there are two of them. An L-frame sits inside the window reveal, which needs to be at least 55mm deep, or on the wall face (outside mount). A Z-frame is a stepped profile that bridges the reveal. You measure first, using the measuring guide. Put your window against the table and the answer usually falls out.

Perfect fit earns its place when you do not want a screw anywhere — not in the wall, not in the reveal and not in the window. If that describes you, request a quotation.
How a quotation works
- Request a quotation. Send your details through our quote request page and say it is perfect fit you are after. Give us what you can: that the windows are uPVC, how many, roughly what size, and which rooms they are in. There is no basket for these.
- A survey of the window. The frame depends on the beading, so looking at the window is part of quoting rather than an afterthought.
- You get a price for your windows. A price for the job as described, rather than a from-price.
- Made to measure. Like every shutter we supply.
- You collect and fit. Collection is from Retford, Nottinghamshire, and the fitting is yours to do. We are supply-only, and we do not recommend or supply a fitter.
