  • Frame assembly confirmed: are all corner pieces locking together cleanly without gaps?
  • Correct frame orientation: is the top track at the top and facing correctly toward the room?
  • Dry fit completed: has the lightweight outer frame been test-fitted inside the opening?
  • Plumb & level line verified: does your spirit level confirm all tracks are completely true?
  • Handle clearance checked: do the window handles clear the louvre rotation path fully?
  • Window operation confirmed: can you still operate your window latches and vents easily?
  • Horseshoe packers at hand: are your shims sorted and within easy reach?
  • Drill bit size matched: is your drill bit size correctly matched to your wall plugs?
  • Substrate fixings correct: have you verified that your screws are correct for the wall type?
  • Utility scanning completed: have you scanned the drilling paths for hidden pipes or cables?
  • Work area protected: are dust sheets laid down to catch masonry and drilling dust?
  • Personal safety equipped: are your safety glasses on before starting your power drill?
